classic

classic sounding po/punk track

you actually did an ok job with the guitars, they dont exactly sound realy, but they sound kinda good in their own little way

now you just need a bridge, and mabye a little breakdown and youl have yourself quite a good pop trackk

oh yeah, make the inferno guitar do some like soloes and stuff, you know

thats all i can reall say

Peace

Sessile

ShinyArmor responds:

Yeah i know, Inferno has GREAT solo potential. and i already created a bridge... but didnt put it here because it was on a really bad sounding thingy and i didnt want t move it. i have now an almost completed song and the only thing left is the solo and end!

Yay!...

Thanks aot man!

amazing

really really great, im listen on some piece of shit headphones, so i doubt its your track thats clipping

so ill over look that

great job, it has some parts that have a slight dnb feel to them, since there not completly 4x4 kicks

yeah idk what else to say

peace out

ViceOfFire responds:

Thanks a lot for the review dude!
It does have some slight clipping issues, though these are easily addressed.

We decided to use a breakbeat to change things up a bit and avoid repetition.

Really glad you liked it :D

fuck yes man

great track, how did you do that weird transition at :09, and at :23

oh my god that bass ucking owns, most ppl probly wont like it, but i fucking love my basses real sharp like this

great job with teh bass man

well it doesnt realy go anywhere

nevermind i just heard the main melody, its really good, but it takes a bit to get in there

great melody man, but the melody never stays solid for very long, its always fading, and melding with pianos, idk ide say leave it be for a bit, but thats just me

on that other guys comment, i think hes wrong, i think the bpm is great

5/5
8/10

peace out man

good job

unrealdark responds:

Thanks for the input, I did those with 1 sample effect, and the kick going reverse, which is a easy thing to do just get the pitch back to normal. Hmm about the bass you're right, I need to fix it it's not going anywhere. I'll fix the melody problem with fading in and out, I just used allot of automations. ^^ I did them too early. Even you're saying the Bpm is right, I still think I'll decrease it just a little bit because it goes way to fast on the intro, it might get beter later on though. Thanks for the input, I'll take them in mind and work them out. ;)

wait...

are you making an album???

i think if you made a whole album, complete with story to acompany it, it would be some EPIC that no one will ever forget, i know i wouldnt, plus, concept albums fucking pwn either way

its def. got a like a roaming on horse feel, so the title really goes good with it

PM me teh story plox(if you have one..)

i love those precussions in the background, they are just great and i dont even really knw why, ussually i tell you to turn up some precussives, but i think those are great the way they are

what are those???(the background precussives i mean)

great track man

dude do you ever listen to RPG style music?, if not i think you should, i also think you should make some RPG tracks, your string skills are def. crazy enough to do that kinda stuff

anyways, enuff rambling

peace out man

blackattackbitch responds:

Oh no, this isn't for an album lol, I don't think I would make much money on an album full of orchestral works anyway. (I do have an album planned, but it's gonna be a rap instrumental album, since I can make tons more on sales since I live right next to philadelphia)

This is actually for a flash game for the power of three event, and unfortunately I ended up putting too much energy in this song so it likely won't end up on the level that I made it for.

The percussions are from the freebies from projectsam's true strikes 1 and 2, which was quite possibly the best link I ever recieved (thanks sorohanro). As for the specific names of the instruments, many of them are so confusing that I can only remember their abbreviations at the moment. I'm gonna add the link to my giant list of freebie samples and soundfonts as soon as I can.

And lastly, hehe my whole music career was started because of RPG music, in fact if I could get signed onto a major videogame project I would probably crap my pants hahaha

peace out, like I said in the other response, I'm gonna try to leave a review (or a couple of reviews) later tonight.

i agree

with the other guy, some choir vox, would be nice in here, this track seems to lack the bass end a bit

your flutes always have a really good folk-ey feel to them, like i would hear them in the 1500's(probly b4 that actually...)

its good track, description is good for it, although some parts seem to more like pirat-ish in my opinion, not so much plain old swordsman, mabye its becuase when i think swordsman, i think japanese samurai...

good track

5/5

7/10

blackattackbitch responds:

Yeah, when I came back to this song, I realized that I really should have changed the drums. It's too late now, but I really wish I could change it....

Idk, I always worry about the woodwinds because the soundfonts I have for them are....mediocre at best. I usually try to get past that by loading multiple articulations and using them at different parts.

And I'm glad you said something about the theme, now that I think about it, it does sound really piratish at parts. I might change the name. I was just trying to make a basic level-theme for this game, not really worrying about the specific theme of the song. This song and the song after it have, well, less-than-inspired names for them.

Thanks for voting 5/5 even with the 7/10, personally I usually give a 3 or a 4 whenever I vote seven, so that 5 is very appreciated =)

And sorry I haven't been reviewing lately, I've been working on my tracks and literally working for the past week, imma try to leave a few reviews later tonight though.

yeahh...

its all ok, like the title says

way to much vocal clips and stuff, try doing a main melo instead of so many voices

its okey though, which means its not bad, so thats good

peace out

SessileNomad

sonicxtreme responds:

hey thanks 4 the revs man...peace

i luv hardstyle

ive even made some hardstyles myself

i dont know where to get good vocal tracks though, ussually i jsut rely on hard kicks and good melodies to make good tracks

its got a nice dark feel when the melody comes in

wtf manb that melody needs to be much louder, OR you need to keep it that volume and add a main melody over it, so it acts as a bassline

good kicks and stuffthough

where did you get the vocals???

p.s. well its apparent your not a complete stupid xD

sonicxtreme responds:

lol..thanks just got over the web

i love the name

name is awesome

fucking scary sounding

nice bells man

great loop, its nothing like SUPER AMAZING, but yeah nothing bad at all

peace out

DjRocALot responds:

Thanks for honest review dude! :)

Roc A Lot

FL CORE

weve all been there

this is better than most FL core though

which VST's do you got?

i can point you in a great direction for some good ones

and you should get some beasty drum packs too

now for the song

its realyl ambient, and the drums dotn kill it, ive never had that kind of success with any sort of ambient-ish song ive ever done, so good job with that

peaec out

SessileNomad

Sup3rSloth responds:

I havent downloaded any additional VSTs yet, and yeah I'll probably start looking into additional drumpacks soon.

Now for the song :P
I guess it is kind of ambient, but I wasnt completely sure so I put it in techno.
Thanks heaps for the review.

the kick

the kick is the best thing

ussually i like my kicks much stronger, but the softness in this one is amazing, it totally captures the ambience in this

ive had enough of this intro riff though, its time for something else

nice vocal tracks, really pretty sounding

its all really good but it just gets to repetitive

either way, great track, nice kick

keep it all up

peace

SessileNomad

billyburf responds:
