its good

its all really good, guitar is really nice, even though it has some shrill parts, they still sound pretty good

the vocals arent very understandable when there robotic, i guess thats why you put the lyrics

and when the vocals are normal, idk, there just bad, like the reeverb-ish-ness about them is good and all, i just dont think your a very good singer at all, but w/e the song is stil realyl good

NOOOOOO NOT A FADE OUT ENDING....DAMMIT

fade outs are just dissapointing to me, but still w/e, the song was good

/pointless review

peace out

merlin responds:

This was actually the first song I ever made that had a fade-out in it. I thought I was hot shit at the time, haha. But yeah, it definitely adds to the length of the song. Yeah, I really am a better singer than this song. The vocals were done in the early AM's, in my apartment, where I tried not to wake up my neighbors, so I went with the first, muffled, half whisper take. I think re-doing this song would be a waste of resources, though... Perhaps if I got signed, and the record company wanted this on a cd, then I'd redo it.

i almost

almost got chrono trigger for the PSX, just havnt really gotten around to it since then

lovly ambience, for some reason i do see this as a foresty theme, but more of a winter forest theme

kinda retro sounding horns lol

pretty good overall

oh crap, those drums are bad, idk mabye its just cuz i do too much artificially drums that when "real" drums come in, they always sounds bad

Box-Killa responds:

Hmm Retro? Lol I didn't think of that.

:D Awwww you don't like muh drums? Was it bass drum? or the snare? or the hats? or the whole thing? O well

Just get a rom and play lol on snes

fuck yeah

wow most gabber-esque tracks that i hear are like just the kick and nothing else but it going at like 350 bpm with a bunch of effect fading in and out and shit, very rarly(how the fuck do you spell this?!?!?) do i hear kicks like this with a bunch of amazing ambience and stuff going on

Anyways, im just gona leave and say this was amazing

good luck in the contest

Lashmush responds:

I highly recommend you check out Enzyme Injection aswell as Thunderdome 2005 and forward.

amazing

the beatboxing totally made this amazing

and the synths shortly following the beatbox were just really good

overall, great track

good luck in the amen contest

nubbinownz responds:

Thanks man I really appeciate the support :D

name is amazing

good name man

dude this is really good, the story along with it is perfect, i cant think of anything better

good snare stuff, usually your volume on them is not to great, but there good this time around

whoa holly crap i didnt even realized it looped so perfectly, this is like my 5th time listening now, and its not repetitive, great job with that

i liked the organ, but i wish it had more punch to it, a more dramatic feel, ya know?

other than that, this track was REALLY good

more tracks like this plis

How the hell did you get it to loop so good, most loops i hear have like a 1 second glitch b4 they restart. this was perfect though..

great track man

peace out

blackattackbitch responds:

Well, most MP3s suck for looping anyways, I wasn't really worried about perfecting the loop too much. Personally, I just make sure there's some kind of effect at the beginning to keep people from noticing that it just looped. On a few songs, I used a cymbal roll that began at the end of the song and finished on the other side.

I was actually worried that the end of this track wouldn't sound dramatic enough, and I definitely know that the original has a much more dramatic sound at the finish.

I wish I had a different organ to choose from, but unfortunately that's the best organ sampleset that I have right now.

Thanks for the review, and thanks for the good comments about the drums especially cuz that means I'm finally doing something right hahahaha

And I have to say, it took me a good 20 minutes to finally think of this name :P

Oh and I just remembered, the loop might have been helped by the impulse reverb, which causes a ton of latency. If you notice, the actual beginning of the song starts at the last beat before it's supposed to because of the latency.

ass ussual...

synths sounds weird

and HEY paragon is amazing!!!

oh the guitar-ish synth sounds kinda cool

i think this track would have been better if it went down the DNB path instead

nothin special in my opinion, but its pretty good

Box-Killa responds:

lolz u big meany. oh well ive got 4 weeks to make a better one :D

oh wow

i didnt even see that there was a 2.0 version, so you get a review on this too

dude this is MUCH better, nowhere near as repetitive, even though you droped some of the breakbeat elements, and kinda switched it into a more progressive trance sorta thing

intro was really nice, not much went on, but it still made me bounce

vocals are still doing the weird stuff, but i can hear chords behind them now, so theres more body, but i still say synth would have been nicer

i think you should have had a bridge to fill in between the first chorus and when it just repeats, cuz its just like "yeah yeah, i just hear this c'mon", you know

much better though

great job on this, now you get an 8 :)

peace out

DJRouch responds:

Thanks for your review, I definitely agree,
I'll pay attention to your critics, I hope it will be better again next time :).
First of all, I'll add more synth to the main parts next time, and try to make the intro more complex. Also gonna make more change to the second mainpart.
Your review is just what I need to complete the song =)
Thanks

omg!!!!

i love this kind of stuff, but ive always been intimidated to make it, so i just stick with techno stuff

is it very hard to pull stuff like this off??

ive only heard one other song like this in my whole like, and it was called

geek's coup d'etat

this was incredible man, just amazing

everything was even well mastered, it was all very clear

great voice stuff too

i congradulate you, for not many people earn a fav from me

i dont know how to be constuctive on this kind of music, cuz i dont know anything about it, but yeah

geat job

peace out

poopr1221 responds:

It really depends on how you work. I started off with random, shitty happy hardcore, and moved to gabber and speedcore, and then to breakcore. So it was a long progression, and it took me a few years to learn all the tricks I know, and I STILL probably haven't even learned even a third of the tricks or breakcore. Thanks for the review man. I'd just say do what you want. Make what YOU want.

hmmm

wow, you have like the same exact vocals as DethKlok, not even kiddin

its a bit bland, but thats really just because ive been way overexposed to very complex power metal, with increble synth shit and strings going on, that pretty much anything thats not overloaded with intricacy(spelling?) is boring...(long comment)

good guitar stuff though, pinches were really dont well, solo was pretty good, nothing amazing, but it didnt suck

lol the ending is amazing

i heard they changed him to the veggie monser, so support better eating habits....

ive got a new song that could use some reviews and votes if you dont mind, but idk how much hardstyle you listen to. but reviews in general are nice

i just realized.....is there a bass anywhere in this???

good track, funny, which is probly what you were goin for

great job on the FL drums, sounds just like a real drummer

peace out

Zakimations responds:

the guy above you said that. and someone else did too. I know the samples arent as tight as the prog rock nowadays, sorry. Ill check it out THANKS!!

one major problem

the tail end of your kick, its giving off a note, thats no in the same key as the mello

if that makes sense, try going into the pitch bending and stuff of your kick, cuz the kicks need to me on key as well, even though they can be heard to hear the notes in them

the melody sounds a bit random, i dont know how to fix that, but yeah, trey less random if you can

Meonly70 responds:

I know what you mean. I need to delete my old shit though man. I cant since half of em are over 3k views!! :( :( >:(!!!!!!!!!
