what instument are you using, i assume you use FL

The music channels are done with Magical 8-bit Plugin, just tweaking the parts here and there for different sounds. The plugin is free online.
The drums are done with Toad nes drums v1.3 , which can be found for free as well.
All the sequencing was done in Logic Audio.

i like it but..

its good, but the intro is really long, and when the other instruments kick in, the african drum intro just kinda goes away, the synth actually sounds good for having not much power, gives it a more calming feel, the pad at 1:55 is fine really not much to say about it

it could use a bit of work, but the potential is there

The intro was supposed to be really long, that was part of the song. It's a club mix type song. Check out my extended mix of Winter Wonderland on my SoundStation. The intro is about 2 mins long but it's supposed to be.

I agree with you on the synth, it just kinda fit in right with the melody.

I used Edirol HQ Orchestra for this version, I'm trying to get a better sound with Colossus, but it's not really workin'. I'll hopefully be getting an actual recording soon. Thanks Sessile.

you wanna try out your skill in using only one instrament, try using a sound that is kinda gamboy-ish, this one kinda hits it, but i know there are better ones on fl

if you took this and added a pleasent drumloop and changed up the sound, it could be a fairly nice VG song
