good, i think you dragged out the plucked intro quite a bit, plus you ended the song real fast, right when the main synth hit too...:(

im not very good at hardstyle either, but i listen to ALOT of it, and if you want some dudes to take some pointers from, listen to Showtek(or shotek), and Dj Zany

the lead synth has somthing about it i dont like, it kinda only gets the job halfway done for really sounding like a powerful hardstyle synth

idk i know this isnt your genre but i think you did ok, your tetris remix was much better though xD

id say stick with the p-trance, your much better at it

i love your intial drums, ussually they dont sit well with me but they were really good in this one

and what open hat is that? it has such a smooth feel to it

i have no clue why my pc has let me back on the internet, but ive decided to review what HLS has posted in my absence...or try to get most of it

i really dont like this, it kinda is like how you were with my pink arsenic..xD

idk whats really wrong with it like...its really choppy, but i listen to WAY choppier stuff than this, so i dont know why that would bother me
(try and find "geek's coup d'etat" on youtube, now that shit is choppy)

this is real slow, i like my dnb fast, but thats not really your fault im just a picky bastard

it does have a good, um...mechanical feel to it

i think if you took those same drums and made a faster song with some better melodies, you would have one great song on your hands

Lol, thanks for the review. I like my DnB songs fast, but not too fast. This tempo is about pretty good for me. If you like your DnB songs faster than this than you probably hate PX9 and AxeFX.

hmmmm...

i think in order to creat of more ambient like feel, try with that very first instument to add a small reverb and....agh fuck i forgot what the other nexus setting is...it makes like a second note follow it like a minisecond later...hopefully youll know
if you do that itll make it alot less...hard, by that i mean itl soften up the lead loop. making it more ambient...god alot of that didnt make sense

i like how its turning out though, the placement of the different leads and whatnot is very good

hmm...for the piano, just my opinion on here, try to go with a nexus preset that has and echo to it, cuz that piano killed the ambience when it came on..srry

i dislike house very much, ut thats just me

this does sorta break the mold of house songs to me, cuz its not flamingly stupid and gay

it does get a tad repetitive, but i do know that most of your new shit is supposed to be danced to, so its cant all be progressive out the ass

i like when those, conga-bells-whatever sorta things come in, they didnt last very long but, they were very nice

overall, id say probly the best house song ive heard on NG, i dont generally listen to them, but you catch what im sayin

Actually to your misunderstanding I know exactly what ska is. Ska originated in Jamaica as a mixture of Jazz, Calypso, and Mento. Though it has changed much. The majority of modern Ska bands can be described simply as punk/rock with horns. Emphasis on offbeats, Ska chords (top three notes of a major chord, I believe), upbeat tempo. Ska has gone through 3 waves. The first wave having performers such as the Skatalits. The second wave of ska (also known as two tone) has bands such as Madness, and the Specials. The third wave (the current official one) has bands such as Reel Big Fish, and Less than Jake. If you listen to the piece I have written it has some very heavy influences from ska and jazz. So don't sit there and tell me I don't know something when I know exactly what it is. The entire point of my ska void series is to take ska and throw a techno mix into it. Notice, I am not claiming this is pure ska but it is absolutely a form of it. So know your information before you start making uneducated comments like that.
