the kicks arent at all powerfull enough to make anyone wanna dance srry

but all of your synth work, and especially that main melody is awesome(even if you didnt write it)

i dont tend to keep to one tempo, i usually adjust the tempo to what best suits the mood the tune, and if you have logic ill tell you how to make that reese

the melody from the intro im takin about

its all pretty good, its really ambient sounding

kick is good, nice and strong

to fix the reeverb, turn the knob in soundgoodizer down, or use a different preset, or go through and master everything seperatly, and turn the reeverb down on whatever you want

compressor

there is a slight buzz throughtout the whole song, using a compressor can fix that, although, im not sure whats causing it

i dont think the melody is random and its very nice

other than the buzz, its all very nice

Thanks for the review! The buzz is actually coming from the pad, and it's supposed to be there. More of a character thing, really. And I don't like compressors, they spoil my dynamics. :( Anyway, thanks again for the reivew!

it does have an epic feel

aw dude when those drums come in, thats especially epic, its totally a boss battle theme

by ear this is really really great, i dont know how the original song goes, but im sure its very close

it has some mastering issues, some rattling in some parts, but overall its really really good

and dont hesitate to pm me when you got a new song man, any review is a good review, and youll need some good votes to get you out of your score hole

Thanks man, you can tell I rushed this lol. And the mastering issues lie mostly with the timpani soundfont, as I didn't bother to change the setting to get rid of that clicking problem it has.

I'm surprised you never played FF8, that was the fucking game, I'd play it again if I had the time to search for it.

umm its all really good

but the melody just cuts out...and the other melody is just right there playing but the other one died way to fast

i love that melody though im takin about at :19

about getting some drum samples, cuz i dont like your kicks, well really, i dont like any of the standard kicks in FL, they all suk really

this does get repetitive, but it would pretty much be good for an intro, if it had more going on later

actually i could see this being in a flsh, like in the start menu, so theres a pretty good plus side

its nice but..

you kick man, try experimenting with sample packs that have real punchy kicks

hats are all good though

its pretty chill, but being a dance song, i expect it to have like an awesome climax, and it just doesnt have anything like that, it sorta just is the same beat, without much change, you know?

overall, its ok, but it has some missing elements that would make it amazing

I don't really like the hats, but think the solid short kick suits this piece. :f

I tried to give it some sort of climax with the double claps, I guess I could've added another pattern to give it some more depth.
