nah I'm very bad at playing the piano but it's enough to make monophonic melodies.
The horns are from EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Silver & Gold.
Thanks for the review!
yay my pc stopped fuckin up
i listened to it once through now im listening again and reviewing
intro is good, it really does a great job of showing that the lovers are meeting for the first time in forever
like the flutes afterward, gives me the feeling that the two are feeling the highest form of perfect peace, so yeah flutes good, i think some chimes or bells would go nicly in the background there though
at :53, it has a really uplifting feel to it, which again is what two lovers should feel then...
1:26, i love that alot it has this totally creepy feel to it
1:41 i like this to cuz it smoothly starts to become happy again
i would try to find some better horns for that ensemble right after all that, the notes are all good, but the quality of the particular horns just isnt epic enough, ide recommend trying to find some vst's
2:12, has an odd ethnice feel to it, im not sure where the ethnicity might be from but its just odd, which is not bad
im not going to bash on your outro, cuz this isnt complete, but i cant really give any advice as to what to do with it, so your on your own there
pm me when you have your final masterpeice finished
9/10-im anticipating an oustanding final
5/5-plain and simple it was great
peace

Thanks man, I'm taking all of your advice into consideration. Unfortunately I can't do anything about those horns as that section is forcibly saved due to yet another computer failure. At least I anticipated this one though and did as much as I could with the song before I let the computer die that time.
I can still add the chimes and bells though, and expect them in the finished copy if I can get some good sounding bells.
Can't figure out the ethnic sound though. Must have been the type of woodwind I used. That's the only thing I can think of.
Sorry I can't type more, but I gotta get around to checking out your songs, can't let that delay anymore. Peace!
wow man
good job on this, your pretty good at songs with stories behind them
omg i love those tumpets at :23, there sorta in the background, they really give this an epic feel
nice chill out part
nice part after that, really makes it feel very dangerous
hmmm......my advice....well this is sorta just cuz i like this story and ide like to see it go a little longer, i think you should make a series of songs encompassing the captains journey to get to wherever the treasure is, i think right after this song(or during it or whatever), he should get eaten by the hydra, and kinda have to go through what pinochios grandpa guy had to, but thats just me
good job on this, your really good at using orchestras and stuff to capture the mood of everything
I don't know why, but that's just the way it happens. This one actually started off pretty random. I was trying out all the drum samples I had so I could really make it sound good, then I wanted to try letting woodwinds carry the melody. Then I decided to hook it up with a timpani roll, then aluva sudden I realized I had a oceanic-journey-type song. Never finished it though, for a number of reasons. I was actually working towards its end, but my comp failed, scrapping at least half of it. anyways, thanks man for the good reviews. Peace!
mmmm....
nothin like fl slayer
drums are too quiet, but they sound fairly decent
idk what alexjacobii's prob. is cuz its actually ok for the shittiness of fl slayer
anwsome snare man...
your snare has an awesome industrial sound to it, howd you get that?
i like my dnb much faster, but this was quite good
ahh kids these days and the drugs they do...
This is dubstep
anyways, the snare is just standard dance preset clap+snare tied with ReverbFX.
Simple!
although....
although this is not drum and bass i would love it if you would review this song of mine, its the closest thing i could ever get to dnb

i like this loop, but i hate FL keys
peace
god damn man
your amazing at your drums, i need to know your VST's
i like this song the best of all of yours
at 1:27 theres like a huge arpegiation that goes really fast, how the hell did you do that?
nice
what program did you make his on, and what vst are you using to get that piano, cuz i really would like to get a piano like that, i have alot of piano's in FL but none sound real, there all trancified and shit
also, where are you getting your drums from, cuz your a really really good drums and bass artist, its just your mastering of your drums is iffy
umm...
this could be a really awesome song, but it has alot of fuzzy cackling and shit, i dk how that got there really
i cant believe it has such a low score though, its fuzzy but not bad
did you write this?
wow man
this is probly the best thing ive ever heard you make yet, there are a couple tiny eqing issues, and some of your instument choices are weird, and a little loud, GOD DAMMIT I HATE FL KEYS!!!!!!, dammit i need to help you get that nexus key, ill try and find that later on today, you have an instument after the keys that is arpegiating alot, i dont like that at all, idk what you should do about that though,
overall the song could end up being really really cool, it just has some instument issues, and eq
keep working on this
yeah, i get you. i really hate my sound, i would probably even pay for new and better sounds, but i love how this one turned out and want to improve it's sound.
i was using a demo so i gotta completely redo it now anyway
