fun fun

pretty good dude

def. captures the feeling of a boss fight, sounds a bit to me like a beggining boss fight

good snares.....as always, mabye a bit louder, but hey, i always say that xD

no complaints dude, i seriously wish you got more views on your tracks, you deserve it

peace out dude, bout time you submitted something

SessileNomad

blackattackbitch responds:

Hahaha I actually thought the snares were too loud this time!

I don't worry about views anymore, I just like the feel of finishing a piece nowadays.

Thanks for the review man, btw, pretty soon, I'm gonna unload all the songs I've been working on in the past six months. There's roughly ten of them, so it would take me 5 days just to upload them. Included is the finished version of The Final Resistance, something I've been dying to upload for a long time.

Peace

pretty good dude

dude we have alot of simlar qualities, genre wise....ambient and stuff

i really did like this, the only thing i can reall say is to vary the drums up a bit, i listen to a lot of IDM though, so the drums just go fuckin crazy, so its kinda what im used to

good stuff man, might take a bit to top this

good luck in the death match

alextheDJ responds:

Indeed we do. Yah I see what your sayin. The thing is I layered about 8 different breaks on top of each other so it would take a long time to change it around. I guess I'm just lazy :P but I might get around to it...
Anyway, thanks for the review man and good luck to you too!

listening...

pretty good, although i dissagree with Bjra, i think the kick sounds a bit off, idk, im not really a fan of it

why are you using sytrus?

the offbeat bassline starts off good, but then it sounds like it looses one of the synths working as the bass, plus the bass starts hitting weird notes

i agree with logical, it has a very unique sound to it

that lead at 1:53, what is that, never heard that in sytrus b4

i would recommend a break for a bit if you add onto this, its just like constant kick kick kick kick kick, and it never gives the listener a rest, you know

did you lose some of your better vst's or did you just feel like using sytrus

Box-Killa responds:

I didn't just use sytrus, i used zeta+ aswell :D

Lol, cant you handle all that kicking? Are your ears to sensitive? lol

yeah I just felt like using sytrus

and the bass had 2 synths at diff octaves, for one of the loops for the bass, one of the synths go down an octave

:D

lol bjra's reviews are much more simple...

i like it

odd, i dont ussually hear those dancy sort of leads in dnb tracks

i like the build up, but when it kicks in, im sorry dude but the melody just sounds far too random for me to overlook it, it stops when it moves into the next phrase, but that fast one when it kicks was just not very good imo

hands down most bizarre dnb track ive heard in a while, which i guess that can be looked upon as a good thing xD

i like how it progresses more and more, it really reminds me of like japanese style fight scenes, for some reason...strange

peace out dude

alertG responds:

yeah the leads are a little dancy for the bass style. I added another synth to the track that might make it sound "more japanese style" if thats what comes to mind, but also with the sound effects.
edit: also, the original was not intended to have so much dance synth in it also. my (PREVIEW) track i released before this one had less ;)

not exactly sure what you mean by the kicks, maybe 3:25 or 4:29. i can see where it can kinda ruin the build a bit. maybe you mean something else? lol

thanks for the review

contrast

pretty good job, reason must work well with you

only thing i can say is..CONTRAST!!!!

its good, but mabye you could experiment with giving the drums a rest a bit, OR, introducing a new drum track, its just like 2 straight minutes of an drum beat which, dont take this the wrong way please, doesnt sounds all that crazy or original

as far as instrument choice, fuckin GREAT job dude, great atmosphere, thats pretty much what got you an 8 from be, the great instruments, especially the pads man, thos pads are amazing sounding

its a pretty good track, but i def. could picture it getting a bit better

peace out

SessileNomad

its all pretty good

pretty good for your first dnb track

im hearing what sounds like compression problems with some of your sounds, espeically your swells and reverb hits

the drumbeat worked just fine, but i dont think anyone will be asking for it, as it is really just too simple, nothing really wrong with it though

the repitition is my biggest problem, i wish the vocals had been sliced mabye rearranged or mabye glitched up a little bit, they sound untouched, and it def. steals away from your creative potential when you do that

plus the vocals just keeeeeeeeeeep going, the listener never gets a rest from them

i think just the "chocolate rain" sample and mabye one or two verses would have been better, you could have opened yourself up much more to creating your own melodies you go along with tay zondays melody

i like your choice of instruments, although i dont like your bass, it sounds like the same cookie cutter dnb stuff that i hear all the time, which honestly, i should expect from a first time dnb person, so i wont dwell on it too much

the swells you use are very loud and blaring, they def. should be toned down when you add on to this, they steal away from the track alot

i love the original song, and i think this is a good remix, although it has some execution issues

lol in the end it sounds like hes saying cocklet rain, not chocolate

anyways ima end this review

all in all, pretty good, but could be better

I SAW THAT ZEROEZBOMB! ZEROBOMBAR! jokes.

Thanks for checking this out!

good good

its pretty good, i gotta run right now so i cant review everything, but i can say that when the bassline kick comes in, it cuts out alot of the other volumes, which i know is a hard thing to fix with this kind of music, mabye ask in the AF how to fix it?

i gotta run, peace out

ephixa responds:

This track was made a long time ago. But I agree. The issue comes from the master channel having a compressor on it to fix excessive over clipping. I THOUGHT it was a good method at the time but it's a habit I grew out of.

hell yeah

fuckin good hardstyle

great kick dude, sounds very "standard" but its still good

this reminds me of "no one can stop us" by donkey rollers

you melody is so much better though

you use FL? if so we should collab sometime, im sure we already have alot of the same samples and vsts

its slowing down a bit im liking, its

great melody comin in, man this kicks ass

i fuckin like this dude, sorry about the zero bombers

hey add me to your faves and ill do the same, well keep in touch, we can review each other and shit

great track dude

peace out

SessileNomad

pretty good

intro took fucking forever to get over with

the kick is ok, but its seriously needs some pop, its kind just there right now, i need to feel it bro

magnus choirs, i like them, but i dont like the particular patch you used, theres better stuff in magnus

omg i fucking love the melody though, got its got a great epic feel to it

aaaagh, i like it when the melody comes in its full form, but the kick takes away from it, it definatly needs a distorted heavy kick with a basslin in it

the song is ok, but its lacking some stuff to really make it great

youll get there soon , jsut spend more times on your tracks, which i know is hard for hardstyle tracks, sometimes its just impossible to get stuff to sound just right, but youll get there

loops perfctly xD

peace out

SessileNomad

unrealdark responds:

Did the kick this way on purpose, it would eat up my track if I did it any louder or more pumping. Normally I would make them really pumpy and beefy, but this track didn't deserved it in my oppinion.

Next time I'll make an orchestral master piece, haha just watch. ;)
I know about the melody, worked a full day on it to make it as it is, it just had to be right. ^^

Thanks for reviewing, it's appreciated. ;)
You ever try hardstyle still? I miss it from you. :'(

pretty good

i dont like dubstep really, but this does sound good for a dubstep song

lol i know some of those VEC synths

the bass though, i think you shuld drop some of the highs in it, cuz it sounds like it rattles or somthing, idk realy how to describe it, you probably know what im talking about

your getting a nine from me, on a dubstep song, thats saying somthing

i like the ambient-clashing-with-industrial feel of it, i think thats why it sits so well with me

Blizzaine responds:

The bass might sound rattly because your bad speakers are rattling to the frequencies it cuts off. MAYBE

I don't see why else you would think that
